Books are friends

Lala Burara (Messy Lala)

I can totally relate to Lala Burara! There are times that I feel upset when Mommy tells me to tidy up.

This book friend is one of the things that can remind me of the importance of cleaning up. I make sure to tidy up my things before I go to bed every night.

This is also one of the featured stories in our grade 1 class.

Lala’s mother calls her Lala Burara (Messy Lala). She doesn’t like to clean and hates it when her mother asks her to tidy up her room. Her mother keeps on reminding her to take out the plant for her science class in her room. But she doesn’t pay attention. One day she comes home from school to be surprised that her plant grows so big and captures her mother. She tries her best to free her mother. She thinks of ways and suddenly remembers that ‘Plants die when their roots are cut off.’ She successfully pulls out the roots. The plant immediately dies. Finally, Lala and her mother are safe.

Nea’s Review

The book is fun, easy to read and understand and has valuable lessons.
What I liked best is when Lala finally learns a lesson to always clean up.
What I learned is to always clean up and listen to your parents.

The story is fun and well written. I also like the style and color scheme used in the illustrations.
